About LHLH

"Lifting Hearts, Lifting Hands" was the name given to the capital stewardship campaign undertaken by Redeemer Lutheran Church beginning in the fall of 2006. It was a stewardship journey where members of the congregation committed both financially and spiritually to improve our facilities for the purpose of expanding Redeemer's ministry—drawing people to Jesus Christ and developing them as disciples.

Since the campaign began, over $1.6 million has been pledged, and we are at last at the point where the physical aspects of this endeavor are about to come to fruition. A new Family Life Center is about to be constructed on the site of the former gymnasium. It will comprise a high-school-regulation gymnasium that can will also be used as a venue for non-athletic events for the school, church and community. To support those events, a full commercial-grade kitchen will be included in the new space. Additionally, a much-needed elevator will soon be functioning to serve both the church and school, and various minor improvements will also be made to the building.

With that construction getting under way, "Lifting Hearts, Lifting Hands" now represents the ongoing work needed not only to build the physical structure but the efforts needed to fill it with all the spiritual and fellowship opportunities that God will allow.
